Dedicated Railcar Services

Construction near Denver Union Station will affect railcar parking facilities for several years. National Western Properties offers private railcar parking just north of downtown Denver. Serviced by BNSF and Union Pacific railways the facility's services include:

  • potable water
  • waste pumping and disposal
  • electrical service (110v, 220v and 440v) up to 500 amps
  • number 2 diesel fuel
  • propane and gasoline

Generator sets, electrical and mechanical routine maintenance services can be provided.


Who and Where We Are

NWP is a wholly owned subsidiary of MFEI which has long standing relationships with the Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Sante Fe railways and Hulcher Services, Inc. NWP is also a member of the Rail Passenger Car Alliance and American Association of Private Railcar Owners.

NWP's facility is located at 4647 National Western Drive, Denver, CO 80216. Located 2-1/2 miles north of Union Station it has easy access to both Interstate 25 and Interstate 70. The National Western Stock Show Complex is less than a 1/4 mile east of the facility.

In addition to Denver's cultural draw as the Queen City of the Plains, it is an outdoor and sports enthusiast's ultimate destination. Dude ranches, fly fishing, whitewater kayaking or rafting, ballooning, helicopter tours, horseback riding and other off-road adventures are

McDonald Farms Enterprises, Inc. (MFEI), through its subsidiary, National Western Properties, LLLC (NWP), provides parking facilities for private railcars. Located in Denver, its rail yard offers a fenced, secure site with multiple sidings capable of handling up to 14 or more 85-foot long cars. The NWP facility is served by both the Burlington Northern Sante Fe and Union Pacific railways.
