A special story about McDonald Farms Enterprises, Inc.
McDonald Farms was presented with a special water need in Autumn of 2005 in the wake of hurricane Katrina. With all of the displaced people out of Louisiana & Texas piling up at the rescue missions, aid efforts were complicated by a shortage of clean drinking water. We partnered up with the Salvation Army and their rescue/shelter efforts being conducted at Lowry Airforce Base. We donated not only our labor hours, but several thousands of gallons of potable drinking water over the span of several months in order to help those in need.
